In May, Madeira Island pays tribute to the spring with the Flower Festival, natural element, spectacular and diverse that “decorates” and perfumes the “Atlantic Pearl “.
The downtown street of Funchal receives the traditional Flower Parade that in addition to variety shows, concerts and folklore performances, you can watch the making of the floral carpets.
The Madeira Atlantic Festival marks the beginning of Madeiran summer and has been claimed with a diverse program that includes the “Raízes do Atlântico” Festival (international music concerts) ” , the Regional Arts Week and the Regional Bread Fair.
This event focuses on famous spectacles of fireworks displays and music that are held for four Saturday night in down town city, near the marina.
