Reception
Check-in: from 16:00
Check-out: until 11:00
Late check-out is possible, subject to availability and advance request at the Hotel Reception, the day before departure. There may be an extra charge associated, depending on the time of departure.
Check-in
Check-in will only be done with the reservation’s holder, who will have in his possession all passports and/or identification documents of the guests of the reservation.
Please note that containment measures are in place at the reception desk.
In compliance with the Portuguese Law, it is necessary the presentation of an official identification document (Passport, Identification card) of each person (adults, children, babies) at check-in. Failing to do so, the check-in won’t be able to follow through and the cancellation policy will still be applicable.
Online Payments
- All Credit and Debit card transactions are debited at the point of purchase.
- Please note that your credit card will directly be charged at the moment of transaction.
- Payment can be made via our secure check out pages using your credit or debit card. Your card will be debited at the moment you place your order and receive confirmation
Payments
In case of a pre-payment with a Credit Card to guarantee the booking, it is necessary to present that credit card at check-in. Failing to do so, it is obligatory to do a new payment in the same amount (credit card or cash), by cancelling the previous payment debited in the informed credit card.
If you need to add a VAT number to the invoice of the prepayment, you must inform us at the time of making the booking.
Payment Policies
Non-Refundable Rate
Please note that payment of the entire amount is required at the time of booking, made by bank transfer or debiting the credit card provided in the online booking system.
Flexible Rate
August and September – Payment in full up to 7 days before the arrival day.
All other dates – Payment in full up to 3 days before the scheduled arrival day.
Last Minute Reservations – Payment in full at the time of booking, if made:
August and September – 7 days or less from the check-in date.
All other dates – 3 days or less from the check-in date.
Cancellation Policies
VidaMar reserves the right to charge 50% of the total stay for cancellations received within 14 days or less prior to arrival, for stays over Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Easter and between 1st of June and 30th of September. VidaMar also reserves the right to charge 50% of the total stay for cancellations 3 days or less prior to arrival, for stays in the remaining months.
No-Show
VidaMar reserves the right to charge 75% of the entire/total stay in case the Guest fails to arrive (no-show) or cancels the reservation on the estimated arrival day.
Early departure
VidaMar Algarve reserves the right to charge 75% of the remaining booked period.
Cleaning services
Cleaning of the rooms/suites is performed daily. Change of towels and bed linen will be done every 3 days.
Meals
- Breakfast: Served at the Ocean Restaurant and in a shift system, with schedule to be selected by Guests upon check-in. Served Buffet (there is no self-service), with a selection of hot dishes, plated to order at the show cooking station(s), according to the Guest’s request.
- Lunch: Available at the Sunset Restaurant, with à la carte options. The food and beverage service will be carried out around the pool area, in disposable ecological boxes. It is also possible to order lunch at the Primadonna Restaurant, exclusively on a takeaway basis and requiring pre-order.
- Dinner: Served Buffet (there is no self-service). Individual portions of starters and desserts, selection of hot dishes and side dishes, plated to order, according to the Guest’s request. The service is provided at the show cooking station(s). Shift system for dinner, to respect social distancing.
It is also possible to enjoy dinner at the Primadonna Restaurant, exclusively served on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace. A takeaway option is also available and requires pre-order. Guests staying at the Hotel on a half-board basis will benefit from a food credit (exclusive for dinner) in the amount of €15.00 per Adult and €7.50 per Child (3-11 years old).

Special Services for Restaurants and Bars
VidaMar Resort Hotel provides a choice of food and drinks for children and babies in their restaurants. The Hotel also provides options for vegetarians Guests and Guests with dietary restrictions.
However, if any vegetarian Guest or a Guest with special dietary needs wishes to have a more elaborate or specific dishes, the Hotel will be glad to meet their expectations, at an additional cost and according to the availability of service.
On the other hand, due to legal Food Safety and Hygiene reasons, we do not store any kind of food or beverage brought in by Guests into the Hotel.
Dress Code
Please note that there is a Dress Code in place in all public areas of the Hotel, which will be reminded and reinforced, especially in the restaurants and bars.
Online Occupation/Reservations
If the vidamarresorts.com Online Reservations system available on the respective site is used, the terms and conditions relating to availability, prices and cancellations apply to each room price indicated and the user should carefully read the details provided regarding charges before completing the reservation process. Any special needs should be communicated while making the reservations, although a response to these is not guaranteed.
“Prices from”
The prices denominated by “Prices From” in the hotels presentation list, are the lowest price available, per night, per person, for the respective unit (hotel) up to the end of the current year and therefore, there is no guarantee of this price’s availability every time a research in done in our reservations system (variable price depending on research date). Because these are already the lowest available rates, which may therefore include the promotional campaigns, no added discounts are applicable.
Promotions and Offers
vidamarresorts.com may make information available on the site related to specific services, offers or promotions that are occurring. Such services, offers or promotions will be subject to the specific terms, conditions and restrictions found on the site associated with these same services, offers and promotions.
General
The user is not permitted relinquishment, sublicensing or transference or any other form of any of their rights stipulated in compliance with these Terms and Conditions. If any clause contained in these Terms and Conditions is determined invalid by a qualified court of law, the invalidity of this clause will not affect the validity of the other clauses included in these Terms and Conditions, which will remain in full force and effect. The non-execution by one of the parties of any right or expedient in compliance with these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a renunciation of this right or expedient.
Use of the Site
Use of the site implies that the user must be of age (minimum 18 years) and be able to enter binding contracts. The user will be financially responsible for all use of the site by him/herself.
