See some of our (abridged) solutions for enjoying the most of your time at home

This year the Christmas holidays are bound to be very different! Please consider some of the suggestions we’re leaving here, so you can better enjoy the time you will spend in the comfort of your home!

Watch Christmas movies (and more!). Streaming platforms have content that seems to just go on forever! Disney+, HBO, Netflix and Amazon Prime all have some sort of free trial available (if you look hard enough). Enjoy it to the fullest and embark on a binge of some of the year’s top shows, movies and documentaries!

Avoid the season’s most repetitive sounds! Really take the heart the concept of do-it-yourself and make your very own year-end or Holiday playlist. “Borrow” some spectacular ideas from the various “Best of 2020” lists of each genre that abound with any short online search. Your ears (and your loved ones) are sure to appreciate the variety.

Try out New Recipes. Not always making the same pasta with tuna recipe isn’t REALLY that hard, you will see. Start by researching traditional recipes or workshops and then “just” practice them in the kitchen! Free online workshops exist on Youtube, including some by acclaimed chefs.

Read one of the (many) books you’ve been putting off. You’re officially out of excuses not to get a head start on your (muchpostponed) reading goals for the year. Now you have all the time you need to pick up a book, find a quiet spot in the house and enjoy it over a nice cup of tea (or slice of cake, no judgement here)!

Catch up. Our last piece of advice is probably tyeh most important one, especially give how challenging 2020 has been for all of us: Make it a point to schedule Happy Holiday video calls with friends you haven’t seen as much this year! Warm up your heart and theirs, with even a short piece of chit-chat over what they’ve been up to.
